Site Manager (Fit Out)

Capex Recruitment are partnering with a leading main contractor to appoint experienced Site Managers for high-profile projects across Dublin.

This is an opportunity to join a contractor delivering large-scale developments for established, blue-chip clients, within a professional and performance-driven environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Project or Contracts Manager, the Site Manager will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to an exceptional standard of finish.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading site operations and coordinating all on-site activities
• Managing subcontractors to ensure work is completed to specification and with minimal rework
• Driving programme delivery in line with contractual milestones
• Maintaining strict health & safety and quality standards across the project
• Monitoring progress and providing timely, accurate reports to senior management
• Planning labour, plant and materials in accordance with the construction schedule
• Working closely with the commercial team to flag risks or upcoming cost issues
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be an experienced construction professional with a strong track record of delivering projects to programme and quality expectations.

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Extensive knowledge of construction project delivery and site management practices
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality finishes on time
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage site teams
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project cost control
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions
• Proficiency in MS Office and project scheduling software
